Hometown Health is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team of caring professionals. The PA position works in collaboration with physicians and clinical support staff to perform health assessments, diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic injuries and illnesses as well as to promote health maintenance and wellness.
Established in 2003, Hometown Health Center (HHC) is a leader in healthcare, providing more than 32,000 medical, dental, and behavioral health visits per year to 6,200 patients. Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum two years or more of primary care experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and deliver care in a manner that preserves patient autonomy, dignity, rights, values and beliefs.
- Ability to manage time efficiently to maintain flexibility with scheduling for the purposes of maximizing patient access to care.
- Computer knowledge and experience with EMR.
- Basic knowledge of billing and reimbursement.
Job requirements:
- Successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure to practice in the state of Maine.
- Current DEA License, including Schedule II Privileges
- Current BLS certification
