Falmouth Public Schools is looking for K-12 daily nurse substitutes.
Requirements:
- License from the State of Maine to practice as a Registered Nurse and proper Department of Education certification.
- Has or is eligible for approved Criminal HIstory Check through Maine Dept. of Education (fingerprinting) and must pass a district-run background check.
Recommended additional qualifications:
- Knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development
- Knowledge of nursing care for children and adolescents
- An understanding of school health policies and procedures
- Competency in emergency care
- Familiarity with community health resources
- Desire to work with children/adolescents
- Recent practice as a registered nurse
Falmouth Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop houses, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools. Additional: The daily nurse sub rate is $175.
