Summary:
Employees/students accepted into a two- year accredited Medical Radiography program will be awarded full tuition paid for program. During the sponsorship timeframe, Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital will pay for the employee to attend class, labs and study, up to 20 hours per week. During the sponsorship timeframe, the employee will also work 20 hours per week. Sponsored employees will be considered fulltime and will be eligible to receive full time benefits. At the completion of the program, and certification, the employee promises to remain a full-time Radiologic Technologist with Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital for 1 year for every $10,000, up to a maximum of 5 years.
Responsibilities:
- Performs tasks of a clinical nature within scope of assigned duties and clinical expertise.
- Provides excellent service with focus on patient and/or customer experience.
- Assists with patient check-in and scheduling.
- Assists with exam procedures and patient transporting.
- Assists in all modalities and clinical services per operational needs.
- Utilizes a variety of equipment, computers and software.
- Performs exam review, chart prep and patient education as directed.
- Works with members of the team in an effective and efficient manner.
- Assists with stocking and maintain supplies.
- Other Duties as assigned or required.
