Description: This position works closely with K-8 Special Education and Section 504 school staff. Duties include scheduling of Special Education and Section 504 meetings; distributing documents related to student palns to staff and families; filing of confidential documents and helping the Special Services department with maintaining compliance with documention deadlines.
Qualifications: High School education is required. Associate’s degree or some college or related experience preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office software and Google calendar required and knowledge of the special Education process desirable. Position also requires excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to handle a variety of tasks requiring problem solving skills and maintaining confidentiality.

Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
