MDI Biological Laboratory: Aquaculture Animal Care Technician Apprenticeship

MDI Biological Laboratory is hiring for their new Registered Apprenticeship Program for the occupation of Aquaculture Animal Care Technician. This is ideal for someone seeking an introductory opportunity to a career in laboratory aquaculture --  this opportunity is open to recent high school graduates or current students able to work half-time until graduating in 2025.

 

Apprentices will learn on the job over the course of 2,000 hours (1 year full-time) in a specially designed in-house training program at MDI Biological Laboratory, and receive supplemental related instruction as well. Their wages will begin at $17 per hour, increasing with skill progression. They will also receive an industry-recognized, transferrable Credential of Value (certificate) upon successful program completion.
