Do you smile with your eyes? Are you a confident and compassionate person looking for an opportunity to grow and serve your community by delivering caring service? We are looking for interns to join our Patient Experience team!

The Patient Experience Intern (General) has the unique opportunity to participate in hands-on learning in an essential and growing realm of the hospital setting. Patient Experience Interns are current students in Bachelors Degree program who have completed a minimum of 4 semesters of course work. Interns will have a welcoming demeanor and be a warm, calm and compassionate presence to our community.

Interns will assist in growing new and emerging programs within the hospital such as utilizing technology for bedside visitation, concierge style support and service recovery programs. Interns will actively be interfacing with and assisting patients through these programs and proposing future evolutions of them to enable long-term success.

Interns will also serve as part of our Welcome Team! You will greet arriving patients and their visitors taking temperatures, asking if they have specific symptoms of illness and when appropriate, providing them with a mask. When interfacing with visitors, you will communicate current visitation policies and utilize the daily patient census for visitation policy exceptions. Interns work closely with patient care staff to navigate extenuating circumstances. They can calmly assist frustrated individuals and hold to the highest standards of patient privacy. They are a key component in limiting exposure to our patients, our employees and our community from illness.

Make this summer one to develop new skills, serve your community, and make an impact in the lives of those seeking care for themselves and the ones they love.

We have a variety of shifts available 7 days a week.
