The Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust’s Farmers Market was established in 1999 to advance the Land Trust’s mission of supporting local agriculture. Located on Crystal Spring Farm, a 331-acre property owned by the Land Trust, the Market is now one of the largest in Maine. With over thirty vendors, many of whom have been with the Market since its inception, the Saturday morning Market offers an exceptional variety of local, fresh products including vegetables, fruits, seedlings, dairy, meat, seafood, cut flowers, mushrooms, baked goods, and artisanal and prepared foods. About the role:
The Farmers Market Parking Coordinator is a part time, seasonal employee who implements the set-up and break-down of the Farmers Market site and manages the parking during the hours when the market is operating, in partnership with volunteers. This includes being on site at the Market Saturdays, 7am to 1pm, May through October - in rain or shine conditions. 

Skills Required:
Great interpersonal skills, and experience working with the public and/or volunteers.
Physical ability to lift 45lbs and carry equipment.
Organized and detail oriented.
Valid driver’s license.
Basic “handyperson” skills for minor repairs and upkeep of infrastructure are a bonus.

Duties:
Set-up and put-away cones, and market informational signage before and after market in coordination with volunteers.
Assist Market Manager with set-up and breakdown of market booth, and informational materials.
Work with parking volunteers and local law enforcement to manage traffic flow and parking at Farmers’ Market site during the Market open hours.
Interact with Market patrons, vendors, and volunteers.
Make repairs to market signage, or equipment as necessary.
Assist Market Manager with pre-season Market green setup in the Spring and post-season Market green breakdown in the Fall.

Compensation and Benefits:
