Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Maine and have MDOE CHRC.
Description:
Scarborough School Department is seeking a part-time, 8 hours per week, Physical Therapist to join our therapy team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and special educators providing services to children in our K-12 schools. Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Maine. Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and knowledge base regarding pediatric standardized testing preferred. Position requires ability to do lifting for transfers and participate in active therapeutic activities. Responsibilities may include conducting assessments and developing appropriate physical therapy individualized educational plan goals, providing direct and consult physical therapy services to students in alignment with their IEP goals, and collaborating with special education teachers and support staff towards integration of the physical therapy goals into the classroom setting.
