What you will do as a Quality & Compliance Coordinator:

  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution as it relates to quality and compliance improvement opportunities.
  • Assists with the development, implementation, education, communication and organization of policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates resident care and safety aspects of regulatory and accreditation continuous readiness program. Serves as a resource to leadership and staff.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and reports on data collected from a variety of sources. Develops detailed quality and compliance reports and recommends strategies to provide best-in-class resident care.
  • Develops and prepares communication, application, and education materials necessary to maintain compliant programs.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • An active, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Maine and be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures is preferred.
  • 5 years of clinical experience and 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency utilizing electronic systems to analyze data and prepare executive reports.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • A current valid license to operate a vehicle in the state of Maine and a driving record that is satisfactory to the company may be required.
  • Must complete a criminal history record check to the satisfaction of the company.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
