This role is a unique opportunity to blend expertise in Training & Development with Talent Acquisition, supporting both critical functions to foster employee growth, engagement, and development. As a key contributor to our HR team, you’ll play an integral role in designing impactful training programs and recruiting top-tier talent to help drive our company's continued success.

What You’ll Do:

Training & Development:

  • Lead the assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training initiatives that enhance skills, boost performance, and align with business goals.
  • Implement engaging workshops and e-learning programs, incorporating tools like LinkedIn Learning into programming.
  • Partner with department leaders to develop role-specific training plans and develop career learning paths.
  • Work in partnership with leadership to implement the annual Global Leadership Development Program.
  • Collaborate with external training partners to ensure programs meet organizational needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness to deliver measurable results.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, from creating job postings to conducting interviews, managing reference checks, and advising hiring managers on candidate selection.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to anticipate workforce needs and proactively identify talent pipelines.
  • Ensure new hires have a seamless, positive introduction to the company through our onboarding programs.
  • Play an active role in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, helping to cultivate an inclusive workplace culture.

Additional Contributions:

  • Support and assist with other HR functions, programs and initiatives.
  • Act as a key member of the DEI committee, contributing to strategies that foster inclusivity and innovation.

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in training and development, talent acquisition, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in HR software, applicant tracking systems, and learning management tools.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for DEI, with experience implementing leadership development programs and fostering inclusive workplaces.
  • A professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus but not required.

Work Environment: Diversified Communications offers the flexibility to work remotely and enjoy a hybrid schedule, working in the office 2 days per week. We are seeking candidates who are within commutable distance to report into our office located in Portland, ME.
