Woodfords Family Services has exciting openings for School-based Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) in Central, ME! These are full-time positions (32-35 hours per week) and include a generous benefits and compensation package.

Candidates must hold a minimum of 90 college credits to be eligible for the Ed Tech III certification - Woodfords will provide upon hire.

Position Summary

School-based BHPs provide individualized support to children and adolescents in public schools, aiming to achieve their learning and development objectives. They assess each student's unique needs, focusing on behaviors, social skills, personal routines, and self-care.

By employing evidence-based practices and interventions, BHPs create a therapeutic and enriching learning environment that enables students to grow and thrive independently!

Opportunity Details

  • Full-time, 7:30am - 3:30pm (hours will vary based on school calendar)
  • Monday through Friday - No Weekends!
  • $20.00 - $22.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
  • Current opportunities available in Turner, Leeds, & Greene (MSAD 52 school district)

Qualifications

  • 90 college credits required to obtain Ed Tech III certification
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred
  • BHP certification preferred but not required! (Training will be provided upon hire)
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
