Senior Director of Crisis Services
Salary range: $90k - $100k/annually

The Senior Director is a management position of an administrative and supervisory nature, responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the full range of this organization’s Crisis services, Maine Crisis Line and Mobile Outreach Crisis Services. This position will have direct and full oversight of Mobile Crisis Services Program fulfilling all Director duties. It will also include oversight of programming and supervision of staff. The person in the position is responsible for teaching, consultation, triaging, clinical problem solving, treatment review, clinical support, data reporting and data management functions.
The Senior Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will work collaboratively to ensure effective, efficient and safe recovery-based services. a
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, salaried position.
Primarily regular business hours M – F.
Location: Office is located in Portland, ME.
Opportunity to work partially remote in a hybrid schedule.
Onsite orientation is required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in field of Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Clinical Counseling or related area; with independent licensure LCSW or LCPC required.
- Appropriate licensing/credentialing to meet all State standards required, including MHRT-CSP certification within 30 days of employment.
- Two years of supervisory and/or management required. Three to five years of supervisory and/or management experience preferred.
- Experience with supervision, mental health/crisis intervention, psychiatric triage, advocacy and knowledge of DSM criteria preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical psychiatric assessment of patients and ability to document assessment in concise, comprehensive manner. Ability to make clinical decisions autonomously within the context of the team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to respond to major incidents and psychiatric trauma.
- Demonstrated Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Contracts that have Rider D: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
- Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required.
