Kennebec Behavioral Health, named one of Maine’s Best Places to work in 2021, 2022 and 2023, has a limited capacity for interns to join our clinics (Augusta, Farmington, Skowhegan or Waterville).

What you’ll do as an Intern: You’ll learn about providing direct care/treatment to clients in an Outpatient setting. Care may be provided in person, or via telehealth. You’ll begin learning about use and application of evidence-based practices, and may have opportunities for training as well. You will learn to write comprehensive progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments, as well as the criteria for diagnosing clients. You’ll actively work to keep clients engaged in their treatment, and support and empower them to achieve their goals.
