Position: IT Manager
Department: Accounting

Overview:
Our client is seeking an IT Manager to support their accounting department and manage the company’s technical systems with a focus on improving operational software capabilities. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills, project management expertise, and the ability to resolve technical issues promptly while collaborating across all departments. The IT Manager will analyze current systems, manage vendor relationships, and ensure high system availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot core software applications, including collaborating with vendors for maintenance.
  • Analyze system capabilities, develop specifications for improvements, and manage system upgrades.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for core applications, providing training and support to end-users.
  • Lead system performance tuning and ensure effective data exchange between systems.
  • Implement updates, patches, and new releases for core applications, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Coordinate technical support and system monitoring to maintain optimal performance.
  • Work closely with application vendors to troubleshoot and optimize system functions.
  • Manage problem resolution, including root cause analysis and maintaining system availability metrics.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical support for Windows 7/10, Microsoft Office (2016+), and business applications.
  • Experience with EDI and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Background in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable.
  • Help Desk experience and knowledge of programming, scripting, macros, and SQL is beneficial.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A+ Certification required, MCSE preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365 and Teams is required.

Job Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.
