The Progress Center is seeking individuals to be a part of our growing Children's Services Team. Children Services provides in-home supports assisting children with intellectual disabilities within the home and/or community. Qualities include good communication, a desire to make a difference, enjoy working with children, and the ability to function independently while performing job responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide in-home support services to children and their families in the home and community settings with particular emphasis on behavior management, skill development, physical development and activities of daily living.
  • Follow the individual treatment plan and accurately document services provided to the child and family.
  • Participate in scheduled monthly staff meetings.

Key Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required. (Higher Education is Preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • A reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
  • Experience working with children with autism or intellectual disabilities (Desired, not required)
  • A positive attitude, high energy level and creativity

Compensation:

  • Part-time positions available
  • Hourly wage based on education, experience, and certification
  • $0.50/hour wage increase once employee receives Behavioral Health Professional certification
