ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Executes InterMed’s annual financial budgeting process and budget package preparation.
  • Developing a rolling quarterly/multi-year forecasting system, consistent with principles of annual budgeting process.
  • Assisting the Director of Finance and Controller and department managers with the analysis of variances between actual and budget; lead the drafting of a monthly “Management Discussion & Analysis” to accompany reporting to leadership.
  • Lead and perform all calculations associated with both shareholder and non-shareholder provider compensation topics.
  • Conduct calculations related to physician productivity and any related incentive compensation amounts.
  • Assure that all compensation policies are fulfilled, and that associated documentation is maintained in an orderly way.
  • Collaborate with Benefits Administrator to monitor compensation variances due to leaves of absence.
  • Maintains and demonstrates knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights under HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in alignment with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines and InterMed policies.
  • Perform other duties to support the mission, vision and values of InterMed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field, with three years of experience; or combination of degree and relevant experience required.
  • Strongly preferred experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Preferred experience Prophix FP&A and budgeting system,
  • Preferred experience in healthcare and private practice physician groups
  • Preferred experience in Sage accounting system.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to effectively address the needs of physicians and management
  • Demonstrated discretion dealing with confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
