Anticipated Opening – Building Construction Technology Instructor


The Oxford Hills Technical School (Maine Vocational Region 11) enrolls over 500 students from
11 towns in Western Maine. OHTS is seeking a dedicated individual to lead our well-established
program in Building Construction.


This full-time position will begin on August 21, 2024 and entail 181 work days of the school year
through June of 2025. The Building Construction Instructor will create a safe learning
environment that encourages student engagement, while effectively delivering the program
curriculum to prepare students to enter the carpentry and construction field, and/or move to
post-secondary training. The successful candidate will possess a desire to work with young
people and previous experience training or mentoring workers in the construction industry. The
position includes medical insurance and other benefits, and has a salary range of $48,000 –
$70,000 per year based on the level of education and years of experience in the trade.
