The starting rate for this position is $33.43 an hour.

Summary
The CNC ensures and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with the other members of the leadership team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care per established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person to staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to the overall departmental performance.
Job Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required or attained within four years. Associate’s degree required at time of hire (at a minimum).
Current Maine RN license required.
National Certification in specialty preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within six months of hire -where applicable to the clinical area.
PALS as required within six months of hire – where applicable to the clinical area.
Basic Dysrhythmia preferred or obtained before completion of orientation -Where applicable to the clinical area.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation (where applicable).
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving techniques in decision-making.
Ability to positively handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environment.
