Kennebec Behavioral Health, established in 1960 to provide comprehensive behavioral health services and named one of the Best Places to Work for the last 4 consecutive years, is currently seeking two (2) full-time Access Center Clinicians to be a part of the CCBHC program, one in our Augusta location and one in our Skowhegan location. The Access Center Clinicians will provide screening to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse conditions within the clinician’s scope of practice, and will facilitate the initial treatment phase intended to enhance positive treatment outcomes.
The primary role of the Access Center Clinician will consist of completing comprehensive intake assessments, providing appropriate clinical recommendations for care and collaborating with team members for ongoing treatment. After the comprehensive assessment is complete, the Access Center Clinician will refer the client to internal treatment programs; typically, the Access Center Clinician will not carry a long-term caseload.
