SUMMARY: The Office Medical Assistant interacts with the patient, their families, and members of the healthcare team in providing a therapeutic environment. Assists providers and other staff with daily tasks and duties as necessary and performs daily duties as assigned maintaining a professional work atmosphere and helping to provide quality patient care. Performs assigned duties and tasks as delegated by the office RN and Providers.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or high school equivalency.
Graduate of an accredited school that provides the full curriculum for Medical Assistant.
Must maintain valid certification in the state of New Hampshire.
Must maintain valid basic CPR certification every two (2) years and provide proof of certification to the Practice Manager of Primary Care.
Position related work experience.
Employee must have the ability to work and understand computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Windows and practice management software.
