Our reason for being is to partner with our stakeholders to make good decisions that enable our teams to work faster and ultimately provide great experiences to those who choose to rely on our technology. This particular position is focused on the challenging but interesting problem of ensuring that we have a healthy space where data can easily be leveraged for analytics, audits, reporting, and artificial intelligence.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solutions Architect with a strong focus on data to join our dynamic IT team. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and overseeing broad IT architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals.

How you’ll make an impact

Overall IT Architecture Design

  • Design and oversee the development of comprehensive IT architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Develop architectural blueprints and technical documentation to guide the implementation of IT solutions.

Risk Management and Compliance

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks across the IT landscape, with a particular focus on data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that all IT solutions adhere to relevant regulatory standards and compliance frameworks.

?Project Management Support

  • Collaborate with project teams to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables for IT initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful implementation of IT solutions.

Cross-Domain Integration

  • Drive the seamless integration of IT solutions across different domains, including applications, infrastructure, and data platforms.
  • Architect and implement integration strategies to optimize data flow and interoperability between disparate systems.

Innovation and Strategy

  • Contribute to organizational innovation initiatives by proposing and implementing cutting-edge IT solutions and technologies.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for IT innovation, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.

Technology Selection & Integration

  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms that align with corporate standards and support data governance objectives.
  • Lead the integration of new technologies into existing IT infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with stakeholders from various business units to understand their requirements and priorities.
  • Advocate for data governance principles and ensure that data is treated as a first-class citizen in all IT projects.

Technical Documentation

  • Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system specifications.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to stakeholders and project teams to ensure a common understanding of the overall solution.

Experience you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT architecture, with a focus on data governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT solutions in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, data management practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data technologies (e.g., big data, data lakes, data warehouses).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing/delivering systems complying with SOX, PCI / DSS, HIPAA / HITRUST.
  • Hands-on experience integrating IT solutions using metadata, lineage, and catalog, to drive seamless operations and adoption.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automated deployment and infrastructure as code.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.
