The City of Bangor has an incredible opportunity for the right candidate interested in making a difference at the Bangor International Airport, as the Environmental and Safety Specialist. This position works under the direction of the City’s Risk & Safety Manager, and provides knowledge, skills and experience to effectively implement and coordinate the City’s and Airport’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) programs in accordance with all applicable Federal and State regulations. The Airport Environmental & Safety Specialist will identify and evaluate occupational hazards and environmental risks throughout the airport’s facilities and work closely with supervisors, managers and other personnel in an advisory role providing sound technical advice to ensure a safe, compliant and environmentally responsible work environment. This is a non-exempt full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with a comprehensive benefits package. Highlights include:

This position’s full salary range is $28.29 - $37.98 per hour.
