Full job description
South Portland Middle School is seeking a dynamic, flexible and enthusiastic ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher to teach English and Humanities to multilingual students. Ability to provide direct instruction through intensive English language development classes required. Previous experience working in a collegial, culturally diverse learning environment is preferred. Preference is given to candidates who hold a State of Maine English Language Learners (K-12) 660 certificaiton, or who are actively working towards it.
Position will begin on January 2, 2025.
