Job Description
Brunswick High School is seeking a full-time English teacher to join a team of innovative, committed, and thoughtful educators who are guiding students through the ever-changing world of 21st-century literacy. Qualified candidates can teach preparatory, academic, and honors levels of grades 9-12 English.
The English department believes that writing is thinking; thus, teachers are constantly discussing how to foster and inform authentic student work. Reading selections reflect the value of classic literature and the importance of contemporary voices. Candidates must embrace these paramount values and ensure that students with wide-ranging abilities develop proficiency in critical thinking, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
