The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $66,663 to $95,233
Job Summary
This position is responsible for business analytic, reporting, and administrative functions as needed in support of team objectives. This position will be involved with tasks such as responding to requests for data and assisting in the completion of team initiatives. This position requires the ability to oversee, prepare, and deliver concise communications to employees at all levels, along with other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex analytical tools utilizing software such as Excel, Power BI, Access, etc. to monitor and prioritize project activities to ensure informed decision making.
- Assemble appropriate data in clear concise formats for presentations or reports.
- Develop and build collaborative and constructive relationships across internal business areas and teams and/or external stakeholders including regulators.
- Monitors, tracks, and takes necessary actions of ongoing projects in support of business needs.
- Develops analytic dashboards and slide decks for a wide range of critical activities.
- Provides review of project/meeting materials, organizes meeting notes, actions and agendas.
- Leads efforts to ensure timely submission of regulatory, compliance, and regional filings (e.g. PUC, ISO-NE, NEPOOL, etc.).
- Prepares and oversees budgets and contract administration including Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Frameworks, RFPs, etc.
- Oversees and ensures appropriate business accounting for all internal and external staff in collaboration with investment planning, procurement, controls, etc.
- Assists in Storm Restoration as required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, project management, or related field.
- Strong mathematical, reasoning and data manipulation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees to inform and influence others, providing appropriate data in the appropriate presentation format to assist in decision making.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite including experience utilizing complex formulas and creating tables in Excel.
- Broad experience leveraging their analytical expertise in a wide variety of business situations.
- The ability to schedule, plan and manage numerous competing priorities concurrently.
- Ability to run meetings and interact with others at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Proficient using SAP data queries and project portfolio management systems
- Foundational understanding of electric utility
- Prior experience with electric utilities or generation facilities
