Responsibilities

ssists in the administration of all aspects of Central Maine Power Company’s Transmission and
Distribution Interconnection invoicing, consistent with the MPUC Chapter 324 and ISO/FERC (Schedules
20a-CMP, 21 Common, 21-CMP, 22, and 23) under the Company’s Open Access Transmission Tariff.
Collaborates with other CMP analysts in the contract management, cataloging, reporting, and invoicing
requirements of transmission service agreements, large customer service agreements, and
interconnection agreements.
Collaborates with other CMP analysts and external contractors in the data management, compilation,
verification, and issuance of distribution interconnection invoicing for pre-applications, applications, and
study related efforts under the MPUC Ch 324 Rule.
Work extends to similar tasks at affiliate companies, including United Illuminating, New York State
Electric and Gas and Rochester Gas and Electric. This position reports to the Manager of Transmission
and Interconnection Services and maintains relationships with customer service, service centers, and
other company departments.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
? Determines accurate bills for CMP’s transmission customers, consistent with the Company’s
tariffs, and assure bills are delivered to customers timely. Also ensures all accounting related to
these bills are properly reflected in the accounting system (P – 25%);
? Ensures Company and customers adhere to all contract requirements in transmission service
requirements, relevant customer service requirements and interconnection agreements (P-
15%);
? Determines accurate bills for distribution interconnection invoicing, including for preapplications,
applications, and study related efforts (P- 50%); and
? Performs verification of ISO-NE invoices and ensures accurate accounting for the individual
items of ISO-NE bills are reflected in CMP accounting systems (P - 10%)

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Associates degree with minimum three years relevant experience
or High School/GED with a minimum of five years relevant experience required.

Internal Use
Relevant experience is:
o Working on tasks that must comply with state or federal regulations, with preference given for electric utility regulations;
o Analyzing data in order to provide suggested improvements, direction or suggestions for further analysis needed to solve problems; and
o Serving customers by providing direction for their requests or by responding to questions on State regulated Interconnections and other items.
? Competent in enterprise SAP system
? Knowledge of cost accounting and utility ratemaking principles
? Knowledge of accounting, finance, or economics
? Helpful to have knowledge of FERC regulations for electric and gas utilities

The salary range for this position is based on experience, from $64,000 to $80,000, position is hybrid.
