Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Typical Business Hours (Candidate must be able to onboard and work in Bangor, Maine. Hybrid remote schedule. Candidate must be eligible per PCHC's Telecommuting Policy.)

Highlights of the position:

  • Demonstrates kindness, respect, collaboration, and appropriate judgement in patient care and clinic support.
  • Reviews various reports to identify gaps in care for our quality metrics. Performs outreach as needed, identifies barriers to care, and collaborates to address barriers and facilitate access to care.
  • Manages and/or participates in various quality projects and initiatives as assigned. Works independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Champions efforts to seek continuous improvement and implement best practices within the department and organization. Supports the clinics during implementation of quality and operational initiatives.
  • Creates, reviews, analyzes, trends, and distributes regular quality reports for clinical staff to measure performance in achieving quality goals. Identifies potential areas for quality improvement and shares those with the Quality team as appropriate.
  • Uses change management theories to help support clinics during implementation of quality and operational initiatives.
  • Prepares and completes patient charts, entering data as appropriate and ensuring all chart activity is appropriate and HIPAA compliant.
  • Collaborates with clinic leaders to ensure compliance with AAAHC, HRSA, PCMH standards, quality assurance standards, and other performance metrics or compliance requirements. Ensures quality services are patient-centered and mission-focused.

      Education and Experience:

      • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field required or relevant experience.
      • Minimum of three years of experience in a medical office setting required.
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and Excel, with strong written communication and organization skills.
      • Quality Improvement Experience required.
      • Significant experience with electronic medical records required.
      • Having a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and/or an appropriate length of driving experience for insurance purposes is required. Any concerns raised by the results of a driving record check will be subject to an individualized review to determine whether the infraction is relevant to the individual’s ability to perform the responsibilities of the position in accordance with PCHC’s Automobile Safety and Background Check Policy.
