Job Description
JOB GOAL: To ensure the safety of students who walk to school and cross busy intersections
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Knowledge of safety precautions in crossing streets
2.Ability to communicate effectively with students
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Must assist students in crossing at intersections and assure that traffic stops and students cross safely.
2.Dresses appropriately: wears reflective vest and carries stop sign, (provided by School Department)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 1 hour per crossing, 2 crossings per day (morning & afternoon), 175 school days.
