Remote Junior Developer
Trying to advance your IT career? Looking to put your scripting experience to use? Join our client’s team supporting an innovative digital imaging product line used in diagnostic radiology. This role is ideal for a motivated developer with scripting experience, who is eager to contribute, learn, and grow in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain web applications using Java (Spring, Hibernate) and Angular frameworks.
  • Work with AWS services like RDS, EC2, ECS, SQS, and S3 to support application functionality.
  • Create scripts to automate routine tasks and optimize processes.
  • Deploy releases and hotfixes using Jenkins.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects/bugs, deploying mini releases as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • At least 1 year of experience in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and relational databases (MySQL preferred).
  • Experience with scripting and an ability to write automation scripts.
  • Experience with UI frameworks (Angular/AngularJS is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • A self-motivated and team-oriented mindset, with excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and tools for system monitoring (e.g., AWS Console, Datadog).
  • Experience handling raw image data or image files.
