What You’ll Do:
Lead and guide the classroom with expertise, ensuring successful implementation of individualized Behavior Plans for students.
Provide immediate intervention in moments of dysregulation, ensuring a safe and constructive learning environment.
Collaborate with staff to develop solution-focused strategies and deliver constructive feedback to ensure the well-being of both students and staff.
Help create a positive start to the day by leading morning routines with the children and documenting daily behaviors.
Stay informed on Maine Department of Education regulations (Chapter 33) and manage restraint and seclusion procedures in line with internal policies, meeting all required timelines.
What You’ll Bring:
A commitment to making a difference in the lives of students with behavioral and emotional needs.
Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
Experience in behavior management and working in a therapeutic setting.
Proficiency in maintaining safety and compliance with regulations.
