Adjunct Instructors

CBA, CNA-M, CRMA, & PSS

Job Goal(s): We seek Certified Instructors for each of these courses. Instruction of clinical, classroom or lab training is possible. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills. This position will be part of an existing dynamic medical training team to meet the workforce needs in Franklin County.

Qualifications

• Current Maine RN License
• State approved “Train the Trainer” course, or coursework in teaching adults, or experience supervising nurse aids

Certifications

• Maine DOE Certification CHRC (Background Check) or ability to obtain CHRC

Performance Responsibilities

• There are many other requirements but if the aforementioned requirements are met, we would like to speak with you.

• If the applicant does not currently have their instructor license but meets all the other requirements we would consider training the right candidate.

• A list of the full requirements as mandated by the State of Maine can be emailed upon request.

Experience

• Two years of RN experience
• One year RN experience in the “provision of long-term care facility services” (long term care can be part of the two year work experience)

Working Schedule

• Per Diem

Reports To: Director of Franklin County Adult Education or designee

Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.

Evaluation: Completed annually by Director or their designee.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt
