Parks Maintenance
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Maintenance, this position provides assistance with the general upkeep, and maintenance related activities within all the Parks and Recreation Departments areas within the city. Those activities include but are not limited to, operating various trucks, tractor, and mowers in grounds maintenance work as well as maintaining and repairing Parks and Recreation facilities. Trash removal, parks cleanup, event setup plus all other duties related to the department.
This shall be accomplished in compliance with established local, state, and federal standards. As work experience is gained, employee may be assigned to somewhat more difficult tasks. This is a 35-40 hour per week position with a starting pay at $16.01 per hour. The duration of this position can range from 3 to 10 months.
