Specific Job Details:
This is a full-time year-round position working with our diverse population of adult learners as an advisor promoting academic success and post-secondary career pathways.
35 hours per week with benefits
School Description:
Biddeford Adult Education is a community-based program offering a wide range of academic, vocational, and enrichment classes.
Brief Job Duties:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
  1. Student support services including advising and assessment.
  2. Academic course development and planning.
  3. Familiarity with office procedures.
  4. Experience with data management systems.
  5. Proficient in the use of office technology tools.
  6. Post-secondary and workforce advising.
  7. Experience working with diverse student populations.
  8. Familiarity with community resources supporting student achievement.
  9. Online learning platforms and assessment tools.
  10. Student attendance systems.
  11. Facilitating stakeholder groups and program planning.
Certification/License:
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education
Education
Bachelors from an accredited college or university.
