Job Description
The Crisis Residential Specialist will monitor and provide therapeutic support in a short-term residential setting for clients who are in psychiatric crisis. Service delivered is described in each individual’s crisis stabilization plan. Service is provided to children and adults with varying needs, difficulties, levels of ability and demands in a quick paced environment. Secondary education in human service, educational or criminology field is preferred. Strong knowledge of medications and medical terminology, mental health issues and crisis theory is preferred.
