CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the CHRO to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with the organization’s vision, values, and strategic objectives.
  • Review and assess current marketing and communications efforts, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Lead the execution of marketing and communications plans across multiple channels, including digital, print, and internal communications platforms.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
  • Monitor and manage the organization’s public image and reputation,
  • Cultivate and respond to media inquiries as needed, ensuring accurate, positive coverage in the community.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure clear, consistent, and transparent communication with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Assist CEO with internal & external communications, recognitions, and executive branding
  • Develop and deliver internal communications that support employee engagement, organizational culture, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partner with departments to communicate key initiatives and updates in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop external communication strategies to increase organizational visibility and strengthen relationships with stakeholders, including patients, the community, media, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Oversee the creation of press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and other content for external audiences.
  • Manage the organization's presence on social media platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, in collaboration with the Digital Media Specialist.
  • Oversee the production of digital content, including website content, blogs, videos, and social media posts.
  • Analyze digital marketing metrics and use insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
  • Supervise and mentor the Digital Media Specialist, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and Clinical Operations, to align communication strategies with organizational goals and enhance collaborative efforts.
  • Facilitate team meetings and cross-departmental collaboration to ensure messaging is consistent and effective.
  • Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing and communication activities, providing regular updates to the CHRO and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist the CHRO and CCLO (Chief Compliance & Legal Officer) in the development of crisis communication plans and provide support during organizational crises.
  • Ensure timely, accurate communication during emergencies, internal changes, or other critical events to mitigate risks to the organization’s reputation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • Experience:
    • At least 5-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Good listener with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential employee and company information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to categorize and analyze information, to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
