Cafe Assistant / Line Cook (Full-time, No Nights or Weekends)

Description

We are looking for a Café Assistant/Line Cook to join our team!

This role will work in our Yarmouth and Falmouth office locations. Hours are 5:30a to 2:00p Eastern Time, M-F.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and stocking as directed by café manager or lead
• Responsible for the grill orders for breakfast and lunch
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and catering items according to the day’s plan
• Ensure that the café is set up in the morning and broken down correctly at the end of each day and that the space is clean, stocked, organized, and inviting at the end of each day
• Assist with the purchase of food and supplies using the order book
• Assist on the food line as needed
• Assist with other office-related activities such as filling in at the reception desk
• Provide excellent customer service while preparing orders
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous food business experience required, ideally as a fast-paced Line Cook (making sandwiches)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Prepare a large volume of food in a short time frame
• Customer service experience required
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
