Position Overview: L.L.Bean is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented eCommerce Intern to join our dynamic team for the summer of 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of eCommerce and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of our online business, including website management, digital marketing campaigns, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit the product data feed that we send to various vendors and partners daily.
  • Work with the corresponding IS intern(s) to develop proposed plan and solution to clean up our product data feed.
  • Assist with discovery and documentation of all product, order, and customer data needed to facilitate a more holistic returns process, returns reporting, and development of ML decision algorithms
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze website traffic and sales data to provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and IT, to ensure a seamless online shopping experience.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving our eCommerce strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interest in eCommerce and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, SEM) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
