Full job description Falmouth Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, organized, and student-centered educator to serve as the Coordinator of Extended School Year (ESY) Services. This individual will oversee the planning and implementation of the district’s ESY program, ensuring high-quality educational services are delivered to students with individualized education plans (IEPs) who qualify for extended year supports. The Coordinator will lead a team of educators and support staff, ensure compliance with all special education regulations, and foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging summer learning environment that meets students’ academic, social, behavioral, and therapeutic needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee all aspects of the ESY program, including student enrollment, staffing, scheduling, and curriculum alignment.
  • Monitor staff attendance, support classroom coverage as needed, and maintain a positive and productive working environment.
  • Reviewing and Approving timesheets for payroll.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families and staff throughout the program.
Dates/Times:
  • June 30 (All Staff Day)
  • July 1-August 7, Tues/Wed/Thurs
  • 7:30 am-2:30 pm
Qualifications:
  • Ed Tech III certification with relevant experience or 282 Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification
Wage and Benefits:
Pay commensurate with experience. Benefits are not offered with this position.
