Intern will assist with compliance projects focused on system and process improvements in support of WEX’s global ethics and compliance program. Additionally, the intern will assist with the Corporate Secretary, other Legal Department and Company personnel with legal research, document review, and drafting and review of legal documents, including corporate resolutions, incorporation documents, and correspondence to governmental, regulatory, and third-party professionals.
Intern will Support the Corporate Secretary using templates, draft form documents related to subsidiary management, governance, securities matters, collateral and security interests. Legal research related to governance hot topics, corporate formalities, securities matters, collateral documentation, and other security interests in various jurisdictions.
Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration:
•Legal candidates must be rising 3rd year law student
•Candidates must be in good standing with their respective schools.
•Candidates should be curious, innovative, and willing to learn.
•Candidates must have the ability to demonstrate real-life leadership experience.
•Candidates must have the technical skills required for the work and pass a rigorous interview process geared toward assessing creativity, innovation, and technical abilities.
