A Cook at Schooner Cove is familiar with all aspects and functions of the food service department including planning, preparing and serving meals. Responsible for preparing and serving food to residents and visitors. Participates in maintaining the facilities cleanliness, record keeping, maintenance of equipment and supplies. This is a team oriented kitchen and in the absence of the Executive Chef and/or the Sous Chef the Cook will assume a leadership position and support Schooner Cove’s goals to make each meal a dining experience for the residents and their guests.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Previous food service experience and ServSafe Certified preferred.
