POSITION: CADD Technician (CMP-ME-Augusta General Office)

Job Summary
This position provides CADD drawings for modeling electric operating systems in accordance with company procedures and standards. Interacts with internal and external customers by providing technical assistance and support.
Major Roles and Responsibilities
1. Performs updates to electric substation computer models.
2. Performs layouts of new facilities for electric substations systems.
3. Primary responsibility to update and create new computer drawings for all company construction and system standards.
4. Primary responsibility to administrate and distribute updates and new computer drawings for all company construction and system standards.
5. Performs updates to computer engineering drawings for company electric transmission, distribution, and related systems.
6. Performs layouts of new facilities for company electric transmission, distribution, and related systems.
7. Supports engineering by providing CADD operating assistance.
8. Performs conversion of CADD files to and from other file formats.
9. Other ancillary duties related to the core functions of the job as assigned.
Job Requirements
Working knowledge of the CADD system.
Able to manage multiple CADD projects.
Able to train others.
Able to read, interpret, and analyze complex design sketches.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to interact with other technical support personnel, users, and management.
Able to interface with software vendors and internal clients.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Experience and Training
Knowledge of most server commands and utilities such as job scheduling, backups, and system utilization statistics.
Knowledge of system installation and configuration, user account and user group management, printing subsystems, fundamentals of security, license managers and configuration of mail systems.
Knowledge of supporting software systems, ii:: Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, AutoCAD, Visio, and IRAS-B.
