• Intern will get an exposure to the day-to-day execution of the email marketing programs in support of business to business brand objectives. This position will help build and execute highly targeted promotional and loyalty triggered emails, using responsive HTML templates
•The Email Marketing Co-OP Intern will use their expertise of email marketing best practices and data-driven processes to help create exceptional campaigns for WEX.
• Intern will draft press releases, research on various topics related to our business, communications, public relations and social media,
post to corporate social media accounts and blog, compile data to draft presentations, provide support at company events, as well as draft, proof and edit communications.
What you will be doing:
Handle the delivery, customer list creation and segmentation, personalization and messaging, scheduling, analytics and test-and-learn strategies for all customer engagement email marketing communications
Design user segments and implement automated email journeys for a variety of customer types
Collaborate with our in-house designers
Collaborate with our channel team on email strategy and testing roadmaps by staying ahead of new developments in email and other channels
Deliver analysis and reporting of campaign and operational email performance; communicate results and provide/implement improvement recommendations
Identify enhancements needed to increase email list growth, decrease opt-out rate and increase email performance
Ability to translate business requirements into detailed software and technical specifications for the various stages of analysis process (initial requirements, data mapping, data flow, data processing, testing etc.).
