Millinocket Regional Hospital has an opening for a Full Time Pharmacy Technician / Analyst.
Qualifications:Must be a High School graduate. Basic computer skills, analytical thinker, problem solving skills, and highly proficient communication skills.
Preferred: Post High School Education, Pharmacy Technician experience including sterile compounding and IV admixture a plus, proficient in Microsoft Office use. Certification for Pharmacy Technician preferred; otherwise, certification process will begin within 3 months of hire and must be completed within one year.
Main Function: Responsible to analyze, build, test, and implement issues and solutions relating to pharmacy information systems. Successful candidate will professionally interact with staff at all levels in the hospital and will have good communication skills to enable collaboration. Perform usual technician preparation and distribution duties and serve to fill-in for vacations of other pharmacy technicians. Will specialize in sterile and chemotherapy compounding.
General Information: 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
