The Shipping and Lumber Inventory Manager is responsible for the tracking and knowledge of the lumber products that are in the yard and what needs to be transported. They secure railcars and truck transportation to meet deadlines.

Below are some of the duties of the position:

Utilize computerized inventory monitoring (e.g., Lumber Track, Excel). 

Communicates daily with the Sales Manager on subjects such as current production, inventory and requested orders to avoid delays. 

Monitors enroute railcars.

Invoices orders that are loaded and enroute. 

Monthly review of carrier insurances. 

Generates month-end production reports.

Creates sales estimates and provides 4-week forcasting. 

Education/Experience/Attributes

Associates Degree is preferred or 2 or more years of inventory management experience. 

Valid Maine Driver's License

Must be detail oriented and a great multitasker.

Must have strong computer and mathematical skills.
