Job Description

Brunswick is seeking a long term substitute teacher to work in our special education department at Kate Furbish Elementary School. This roles starts in immediately. KFS is seeking a dynamic individual to provide support to students in special education programming in grades K - 2 across settings. Experience with students with disabilities preferred. Students in special education have a wide variety of academic and functional needs. A successful candidates will be flexible, able to build relationships with students, and closely collaborate with team members. Tasks may include supporting students in the regular ed setting, providing small group instruction, and 1:1 support.

Qualifications:

-Maine Department of Education Certification, or college credit.

-Maine Criminal History Records Check

-Visit MDOE to check your status, or to get started on certification Maine Department of Education Certification
