Position Summary

The Vaccinator will work collaboratively with all members within the vaccination clinic to provide exceptional care and world class service to both the patients and staff of Martin’s Point. The primary goal of this position will be to provide vaccinations to patients in a rapid environment.

Job Description

Key Outcomes:

Prepares, administers and documents vaccinations according to MPHC standard work and safety protocols

Supports and completes all standard MPHC infection control processes to ensure patient and staff safety.

Completes telephonic and face-to-face information gathering for patients seeking vaccination for COVID-19

Performs direct patient care services in accordance with clinical protocols in a patient-centered manner

Ensure exam rooms are prepared for patient visits, including equipment operability, supply inventory, and cleanliness utilizing standard stocking procedures.

Ensure patient care equipment operates in accordance with quality standards.

Provides patient education in support of patient visit and ongoing care.

Assist with orientation and training of new staff members.

Maintain clinical/technical skills and knowledge through ongoing development and continuing education

Working to actively enhance patient relationships and loyalty

Managing visit cycle time, office workflows, and patient access (phone, scheduling)

Clinical Support staff will receive day-to-day clinical direction from the on-site RN Clinical Operations Leads, Clinical Managers or Clinical Quality Specialists


High School diploma or equivalent

Associate Degree or education commensurate with required clinical licensure

Related experience in a physician’s office, medical setting or outpatient clinic

Required License(s) and/or Certification(s):

Clinical licensure/certification required (MA, LPN, Pharmacy Tech)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

Skills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):

Demonstrates an understanding of and alignment with Martin’s Point Values.

Identify necessary equipment and materials for patient visits

Room patients in accordance with established protocol and visit purpose

Perform and document immunizations and injections
