Full job description Position: Audiologist (Contracted Position)
Date Position Available: Immediate Opening
Qualifications: State of Maine Certification/Licensure as an Audiologist and a current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine, Department of Education.
MSAD #11 is seeking a qualified Audiologist to provide contracted services for a student identified with an Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). The audiologist will play a critical role in assessing the student’s needs, recommending accommodations and interventions, and collaborating with educational staff to support the student’s success.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Collaborate with the student’s IEP team to develop appropriate goals and supports aligned with the evaluation results.
  • Offer consultation services to educators, specialists, and families to ensure effective implementation of recommended strategies.
  • As necessary, provide follow-up support and training for staff in areas such as assistive listening devices and other classroom modifications.
  • Have expertise in evaluating and treating auditory processing disorders in children.

Timeline and Compensation
This is a contracted position with flexible hours based on the student’s needs. Services will begin as soon as possible following the selection of a contractor. Compensation will be negotiated based on experience and scope of services provided.
