Senior IT Project Engineer

Our client, a Maine-based Managed Services Provider focused on delivering IT solutions for a variety of businesses, is looking for their next Senior IT Project Engineer. The Senior Project Engineer will take ownership of their client’s projects and serve as the main technical expert. This opportunity is for those who enjoy working directly with others, solving complex technical problems, and are willing to mentor others.

Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction: Act as the primary technical resource for clients, assessing needs, delivering solutions, and simplifying technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Azure Cloud Migration: Lead migrations to Azure and other platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Infrastructure & Networking: Configure and maintain network systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability and security.
• Project Leadership: Oversee the planning and execution of projects, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
• Team Collaboration: Provide mentorship to junior engineers and recommend emerging technologies for adoption.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience:
• 5+ years in IT, with 2+ years in a project engineer or Level 3 support role.
• Client-facing experience with strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
