Wipfli is seeking a Business Analyst (Senior Consultant) to join its team. Under the direction of a Manager, the Business Analyst (Senior Consultant) works with clients and teammates to conceptualize, lead, analyze, research, document, communicate, architect, design and implement technology solutions that provide improvements to the client's business processes and information technology, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The Business Analyst (Senior Consultant) will collaborate with clients to understand business vision, business requirements, develop use cases, interface among client business teams, client IT/IS teams and Wipfli engineering teams to conceptualize, develop and implement technology solutions to achieve business goals. The individual will also provide leadership to a team of Engineers to design and develop technology solutions based on client requirements; provide guidance and oversight during the conception, coding, testing and delivery of the product.
The individual may work remotely from anywhere in the United States. However, the individual will occasionally need to travel to the project site in Madison, WI to meet with team members and perform tasks on site or at the Wipfli office location in Madison, WI.
The Business Analyst (Senior Consultant) must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. The individual must also have at least 5 years of progressive software development experience. As part of the 5 years of progressive software development experience required, the individual must have:
- 4 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center implementation;
- 3 years of experience in the Insurance domain;
- 5 years of experience working with Agile Methodology of software development;
- 5 years of experience working with multi- functional team comprised of QA engineers and other roles;
- 4 years of experience in functional, integration and automation testing.
- 3 years of experience in the process improvement initiatives named shift left technique

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $108,500 to $140,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
