TITLE: ESEA Program / MTSS Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Maine Department of Education Administrator Certification
2. Strong oral and written communication and leadership skills
3. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools
JOB GOAL: coordination of ESEA Program, including Titles I, IV
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: (.5 FTE)
- Supports the District’s mission and goals.
- Promotes a positive environment and interacts in a positive manner with colleagues, parents, students, and visitors.
- Serves as the primary contact with the Maine DOE ESEA office.
- Designs, oversees and evaluates ESEA programming.
- Completes the ESEA Consolidated application and reports for Titles I, II and IV.
- Ensures that parents and teachers have involvement in program and application development.
- Assists principals in establishing and maintaining the Family School Compacts and Family Engagement Plans
- Works with principals and leadership teams to develop and implement ESEA Schoolwide Plans and Tier III Plans.
- Assist principals in developing intervention systems to meet needs at each school.
- Coordinates with the Business Manager for fiscal development and reporting.
- Works with the Curriculum Director to develop ESEA projects based on Needs Assessment.
- Disseminates program information and ensures required notices are made.
- Serves as the Reading Recovery Site Coordinator.
- Designs and oversees summer programming at 5 elementary sites.
- Recognizes urgency; can distinguish between the urgent and important vs. merely urgent, and acts accordingly.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the
Superintendent.

OXFORD HILLS REGION
The Oxford Hills School District (MSAD 17) encompasses the towns of Norway, South Paris, West Paris, Oxford, Waterford, Harrison, Hebron and Otisfield. MSAD 17 shares vocational resources and accepts students in its Oxford Hills Technical School programs from the RSU10 School District towns of Buckfield, Hartford and Sumner. Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education is located within the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
